"Try lots of textures like suede/ silk/ velvet in complimentary tones and favourite winter staples to nail this one"
Recently I did some shots down a quiet street, just around the corner from my from my house in Dublin. I had been asked by the lovely ladies at Xpose Magazine to interpret my favourite accessories trend for A/W2014 and a few tips on how to pull them off.
Now I've been looking forward to dressing for the colder months (Ireland seems to have a lot of these) for a while now, I feel totally at rest in my skinnies and winklepickers with a favoured coat, which I adopt for rest and play. So when it came to decided my style of choice this season, I knew it would have to embody a fresh take on my favourites.
I decided on keeping the same silhouettes, textures and staples but replacing the colour palettes entirely. Steering away from navy/ burgundy et all and settling on nudes and washed out shades.
Try textures like suede/ silk/ velvet in complimentary tones and favourite winter staples to nail this one and if you're feeling like hopping on the fashion train, try accessories in nude/ camel/ oatmeal for a new taste in the accessories department.
