"I've been browsing though Parisian street style to get some inspiration and tips- yano, kind of like a guide book but for fashion and probably quite a bit less/more necessary- (depending on who you ask)."
Two reasons Rough Dreams is very excited this week (actually make that one part excited, two parts organised) as I have quite a bit to squeeze in between now and next Tuesday. The reasons being that it may, in fact be my 23rd birthday this Friday the 23rd and the other small matter of spending said birthday in Paris, which if you've been following me on social networks you'll probably already know, since I've been harping on about it for quite some time!
I fly out from Dublin on Thursday and will be staying in Monmartre in the 18thArr, I'm really looking forward to arriving and seeing my first sights of the city, on Friday evening there is a huge meteor shower which will be visible from all over western Europe which I'll be trying to catch, such an amazing way to end the celebrations, as for the rest of the weekend the plan is to pack as many sights, experiences and fun in as I can, and maybe some down time too.
So in preparation/ anticipation of this already over-stuffed, long weekend I've been browsing though Parisian street style to get some inspiration and tips- yano, kind of like a guide book but for fashion and probably quite a bit less/more necessary- (depending on who you ask). It was, predominantly, what I expected- washed-out, black skinny jeans, sleek grey cigarette trousers, well worn leather jackets and boots all made frequent appearances- cue my face as I realise there's a possibility I may not need to 'invest' in some parisian pieces after all, as, well, I seem to already own them. But, this really has a silver lining- not only for my wallet :) but for the fact that I feel like Paris is my spot, like this is some mildly significant sign that Me and Paris are going to be great friends .
Below are a little collection of funky ladies rocking parisian chic like total pro's and I'll be taking some pointers for my trip.
